How it works
This isn’t a confession booth. It’s a process built to protect your story and honor your voice.
01
Apply to share
You submit your story through a form, why it matters, what you’ve lived through, and what you want people to take from it.
You'll answer questions that help us understand:
- The core of your story (what happened, and what it did to you)
- The chapter you're in now (surviving, healing, rebuilding, relapsing, grieving, etc.)
- The outcome you want for viewers (hope, clarity, courage, truth)
- Your comfort level on camera and in person
- Any boundaries (topics you will not discuss)
This application is not a promise you'll be featured, it's a doorway.
02
We review & reach out
We read every submission with care. If your story aligns, we contact you to schedule a pre interview call.
We select stories based on:
- Readiness to be filmed publicly (not perfection, readiness)
- A clear emotional core that can help other people feel less alone
- Respect for boundaries and consent
- A willingness to speak honestly, even when it's uncomfortable
If we don't reach out, it isn't a judgment of your pain. Sometimes it's timing, capacity, or fit.
03
Pre-interview (private call)
We do a private call to map your story, your boundaries, and the safest way to tell it.
On the pre-interview call, we:
- Outline your story arc (beginning → turning point → aftermath → now)
- Identify what you won't cover (your boundaries are respected)
- Confirm your intention (what you want the world to understand)
- Clarify logistics (in-person recording, duration, timing)
- Walk through consent and release expectations
04
In person, then filming
If selected, we bring you in. We record. We handle your story with dignity, and publish only with your consent
If you're selected:
- You will appear on camera (this movement is not anonymous)
- You can pause, step out, or stop at any time
- We confirm publication permission verbally with you
- We do not twist your story for clicks
Your story is not content first. It's a human life first.
